Once a week and on special occasions, we conduct Havan in the temple premises. Havan is primarily done for Viswashanti (world peace). Besides that, the aura of the Havan promotes personal peace and prosperity.

What is Havan?

Homam is an ancient spiritual and scientific technique for creating powerful divine vibrations, fulfilling wishes, and achieving salvation. The word Havan is derived from ‘aavaahan’ which means, to summon or beckon.

How will it help me?

When a Havan is performed properly and especially with the added blessings of a great spiritual master, one invokes the powerful spiritual presences of the deities like Ganapati, SreeRama, Ashtadigpal, one’s Guru, etc.
Along with the main deities to whom the offering is made, numerous devas, devis , gandharvas, etc.(all divine creatures belonging to the hierarchy of cosmic life) , make their presence in the area. Their combines subtle divine energy pervades everyone in that area, and in this way does a person receive spiritual, physical, and mental rejuvenation, just by being present when a Havan is carried out. It is also a great opportunity for the worshipper to pray to the present deities asking them to bestow ‘sadbuddhi’ (good mind) on all people and creatures of the world, and especially of the place where the Havan is carried out.
In Ramagiri, this sacred offering to the Lord is done in the most scientific and scripturally prescribed manner, and has given mental peace and spiritual prosperity to many a distraught person.
