Page 1 of 4 CONCEPT OF KUTUMBA SAMITI:
It is a method of structural organisation of Hindu Society.
THE NEED:
In India, a number of religions are in existence. Except Hindus, all other religions are united socially and economically. There are a number of organisations among Hindus, but each one caters to only a particular state, community, or sentiment, not to ‘HINDUS’ as a whole. Hindus are divided by different languages, customs, etc. due to the state-based allegiance. However they are one in spirit and united by the doctrine of ‘Sanathana Dharma’. Swamiji always dreamt of a great Hindu unity, as a stepping stone to World Unity. Hence we are forming ‘Kutumba Samitis’ among all Hindu families barring the languages/states to which we belong, or the countries in which we reside.
